Allison Road has returned. The P.T. -inspired horror game was canceled back in June, but creator Christian Kesler announced on Facebook that he’s returned to the project despite parting ways with former publisher Team 17. After announcing its cancellation, Kesler said he spent some time away from Allison Road. When he returned, he “started making a few changes to the story, a few scribbles here and there, some layout tests and before [he] knew it it sort of organically picked up pace.” He thanked fans for sticking with the project months after its apparent demise and promised more frequent updates in the future. Though he did note that – given how it’s back to just him working on the game all by himself – “this might take a while”. Hopefully we will be seeing Allison back on Kickstarter so it can fully get back on track again. My take on it? I am so happy that his game is back. P.T was cancelled, thanks to Konami but this fan inspired game took a life of its own and when it was cancelled, it was another sad news for horror fans. Yes I know horror games are growing and everybody wants to take a piece of that market but there aren’t many horror games that can scare the shit out of you and this game looks like to be the one. P.T will never come into our lives but I am glad Allison will, although I am not sure if I would want her to visit my place.
