With all the new games coming out, you always hear about pre-order bonuses, but are they really worth it? Lets take a look at a few pre-order items and you can let me know if they are worth it. Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks like an amazing game, but when you look at the EB games Canada site you get a pre-order present that isn’t your typical DLC, or item. You get…. a flashlight!!!! I have no idea why they would offer this but why the hell not. Play with all the lights off and have your handy dandy flashlight at the ready in case you need a little light.   Sports games are also offering special items, if you are a “loyal” customer, which means you have purchased the previous versions in years past. NHL19 has an offer just like that. Giving you extra items and perks. Getting exclusive in game items just so that you can show other people that you buy the newest game every year.   Also Read Dead 2 has special DLC, just to make your main character look different. Are some codes not even worth claiming? Lots of games have some useless pre-order specials, but I find in most cases it’s just a new skin, or a weapon that becomes useless after a few hours of game play and no way to upgrade it.   Let me know what you got that was the worst pre-order special that you’ve gotten.
