BATTLEFIELD VS CALL OF DUTY, WHO IS THE KING OF SHOOTERS?

With 2-3 months remaining until we get to see the latest installments in both franchises one can only look back at both franchises and wonder who holds the title for the greatest shooter between the two? I started playing both franchises in the early 2000’s as they were both released about a year apart from each other. They were both given equal playing time but eventually I decided to just go with one franchise and back in 2007 when Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare came out I was blown away at how great of a game this was and I lived and breathed COD for a solid year and never touched a single game other than COD 4. 5afc088fcb0574182f9dfb4e3bd12d94 I had many friends along side me playing COD 4 as well as friends who stuck with Battlefield Bad Company which was released in 2008. My friends tried drastically to convince me to jump ship but I was a loyal COD fan at the time. In 2008 Call of Duty World at War was released and that was another game that I fell in love with instantly! Once again I was roped into the world of COD and I didn’t want to get out. World at War was a fantastic game and I give high praises to this game even to this date! a21 So between COD 4 and World at War I was hooked. Those were the only games I played until Modern Warfare 2 came out. To be honest I wasn’t really a fan of Modern Warfare 2 so I just jumped back to COD 4 and WAW for the time being. Yes I was a COD fanboy and I wasn’t going to hide it. I had a ton of friends playing Battlefield who were still trying to get me to jump ship but that wasn’t going to happen at all. It wasn’t until March of 2010 where I received a gift from my girlfriend at the time who is now my wife. That gift was Battlefield Bad Company 2. My wife knows nothing about video games but I remember her saying that ” well the guy at EB Games said this is the best one” so that’s why she bought it for me. Mind you I have not touched a Battlefield game since my PC was alive and that was Battlefield 2. Finally my die-hard Battlefield friends were happy to see me pop online and play with them. 20101020135700f0d That moment when I played my first game I was instantly hooked like you wouldn’t believe. COD? what the fuck is that! Battlefield Bad Company 2 was such a mind-blowing game that I quickly traded in my COD games and I didn’t look back at all. The maps, the game play and the fucking audio for this game it just made me go mental! I have turned into a Battlefield monster now and that’s all I can think about. 2011 comes around and Battlefield 3 is released which is the same year that Modern Warfare 3 came out. Ended up getting MW3 for Christmas played a bit of it but quickly ran back to my beloved Battlefield. At this point I have had enough of COD and I would never turn back to it. [embedyt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7GVSx7yMaA[/embedyt] Lets go into 2013 where I made the biggest mistake of my gaming life and that was being convinced by a friend to buy Call of Duty Ghosts so that I can play with him. Wow was that game the biggest piece of shit I have ever played. Now that was the final nail in the coffin for me with COD games and with more and more of my solid gaming friends jumping over to BF4, what the fuck was the point of even keeping any COD game by my side. I am strictly a Battlefield supporter now or fan boy if you want to call me that I don’t care and I will never touch a Call of Duty game again UNLESS they go back and do WAW 2. Which will never happen because the developers and Activision will never listen to the fans of the franchise because they think people will buy COD games anyways. Well I don’t blame them for not caring because guess what? all you COD fans buy the same shitty game year after year and continue to put money in their pockets. bfcod Battlefield fans are in for treat this year with Battlefield 1 releasing in October which looks fucking mind-blowing!! This game will cripple the COD franchise because they listened to the fans and are bringing something different to the table. COD is going to space…….. enough said right there. If I wanted to go to space I would buy No Man’s Sky. Infinite Warfare looks like a piece of crap and looks like they are ripping of Titan Fall if you ask me minus the titans. Sorry COD fans looks like you’re getting another piece of shit game this year. Also the developers for COD Infinite Warfare are trying to lure players back in by adding a remaster of COD 4 which can holy be purchased by getting Infinite Warfare. Seems like they know their game will be shit so they are trying to boost sales in my opinion and thats why Activision is a piece of shit!! Might be time for a little switch in games this holiday season. Check out both trailers below and tell me which one you think is better? I can’t wait for Battlefield 1 and finally getting a chance to hear all those COD fans wish they had a game like that! The Battlefield franchise is the king of shooters and after October when Battlefield 1 releasing you will soon see why. When the fans ask for something you should deliver because those are the people that support your games and you should never turn your back on them. bfcod1   Are you a Battlefield fan boy or COD fan boy?
