Mortal Kombat 11 Review

No matter which version you refer to, you always think of the theme song that starts off with “MORTAL KOMBAT”! Mortal Kombat 11 has been out for a few weeks now, and I have been playing it this whole time. The story line to the game is very detailed and is fantastic at mixing the past characters with the present characters. The story line does get a little confusing at some points but there’s always a way to explain it in time. With the story, you don’t do fatalities, it is just a straight forward knock the guy or girl out and move onto the next scene. After you finish the story line (which I like to do for getting unlockables), it is worth it. Once you get into the kombat towers, or daily events you can get character custom clothes, and skins. Earning coins, hearts, and soul gems, so that you can visit the krypt, get more items by opening chests, and figuring out puzzles as you go. I find amazing detail in the costumes, and backgrounds. So much to interact with while in a fight, and making a character yours, with specific moves, and knowing the combos. I find that the fatalities are bloody, and violent as always, but they seem short, but pack lots into them. The sounds are spot on, with the screaming, and sound effects from anything that moves. It gives you the scary tone that you need, and when playing online you know what’s going to happen when you hear that fatality sound. They have made the controls a lot easier and once you find your character, using the combo’s becomes super easy. I highly recommend this game, even if you aren’t fully into fighting games, you should give this one a try! I’m including a video showing the graphics and sound so that you can take a look.   Keep gaming everyone!
