The summer months in the gaming industry are pretty slow with slim to nothing really being released. According to the NDP group they released numbers showing that the Xbox One was the highest selling console in the U.S for the month of July. I think this was mainly due to some pretty decent price cuts for basic Xbox One Models. Also they were probably just clearing out what they had left considering the Xbox One S just released this Month. With the Xbox One S selling out in the U.K and pretty much in the U.S can Microsoft carry this momentum into the busiest season in gaming come this fall? On August 23rd Microsoft will be launching the Xbox One S with 500gb and 1TB options for consumers to choose from. The price tags will of course be priced well and will be the perfect gift alongside some great AAA titles being released this fall season. With the PS4 still way ahead in sales can Microsoft quickly close the gap with the Xbox One S consoles that are released? Only time will tell as these console wars still rage on!
