Infinite Fun Awaits. Call of Duty Review.

Another year, another Call of Duty game but this time around things have changed. Trust me when I say this, you need to try this year’s Call of Duty cause Infinity Ward has created another excellent game that also comes with one the best first person shooters of our time, Modern Warfare. Thank you Activision for sending a review copy for this game. The following review was done on Xbox One version. STORY Campaign in Call of Duty games are usually a little over the top and this time around, they aren’t backing down but surprisingly the story is worth every second. Great actors playing powerful roles and there are some twist and turns that every gamer will enjoy. One can easily say the biggest franchise in gaming just got bigger with powerful narrative explosive single player campaign. Although fans of the series usually spend 95% of their time multiplayer, Infinity Ward still made sure that people have something great for Single Player experience and trust me, it does. Try the Single Player and you will change your opinion about COD campaigns. GRAPHICS Call of Duty is always known for its amazing 60 frames game play and to be very honest, the over all graphics and movements and animation hasn’t changed much in the past 9 years but Infinite Warfare changes that. Finally the game is upgraded completely from the ground up to look and feel like a true next generation game. The fluid animations and vivid colors are all over the screen. One you start playing, you will notice that this game is gorgeous and yes it really can compete against other First Person Shooters that has come out this year. COD isn’t backing down without a fight.
This time around the story brings some solid characters.

GAMEPLAY What can I say here, it has been almost flawless game play mechanics since the 2nd Call of Duty game and things stay the same, but that’s not a bad thing. If something isn’t broken, then why fix it? The game play is fun with insane rush. New Perks, Score Streaks and many other similar additions make the game play awesome as always. There is no complaining about a single thing here.
Its fun, its hectic, its Call of Duty. Love it.

SOUND This is one department where Call of Duty can improve, yes the voice over in Single Player is amazing and well done and the background musical score is beautiful but the actual sound design isn’t perfect. It’s the same COD sound that we have been hearing since 2007, although the music and effects used in Zombies in Spaceland is great and something very refreshing. Great over all package still but COD can definitely improve their sound mechanics in the future.
Sound is the only component that needs work.

MULTIPLAYER It is the most played game ever and it’ll be the most game played ever still. It’s a behemoth and it cannot be stopped. The online experience seem less once again, very easy to navigate and new character customization is more fun than ever before. I personally like the special video that showcases operator’s ability, a very Rainbow Six Siege but I am not complaining at all. The multiplayer is fast and fluid, and I never had any issue so far with matches. Over all excellent experience as always. The new perks and abilities will keep us all engaged for months to come. Zombies is a phenomenon and this time around all 3 developers have jumped into the zombie mode that Treyarch started back in 2008. The new story mode related to it is good and can give us great future DLC. Love the 80’s style and this time around they have added a lot more stuff and perks, even more than what Black Ops 3 offered. Beautiful 80’s songs play in the background from time to time as well. Zombies look great and we have clowns running towards you and then explode (Very Serious Sam). I loved all previous zombies and I love this one too. It is just pure fun.
Almost limitless customization and MP is as good as any other game.

Modern Warfare Remastered
The Legend Returns

The Legend Returns

I will quickly review this game that is included in the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare. When I played it, it brought so many memories back that I almost cried. Yes, it is an old game and it is remastered but it is one of the defining moments of our time in gaming. The graphics look great but you can tell it is an old game. The game play is very grounded and I love that about it. The sound effects and announcements have been changed a little but it is everything we wanted in a remaster. Many gamers are saying that they are buying Infinite Warfare just because of Modern Warfare and yes that is a good thing, but trust me when I say this, IW is just as good as any other COD and gamers should play both of them. MW comes with 10 MP maps and might get more maps in the future. The biggest change in the graphics shows in the Single Player mode. Love this game, its 10/10. Simple!
