Details surfacing on the new Survival DLC for The Division which was set to come out in the summer and got delayed is now releasing very soon for all consoles. Right now you have PC players getting a chance to beta test the new DLC prior to its launch. DLC will be available on Xbox first as Ubisoft and Microsoft had a marketing deal prior to launch of the game. survival will also be coming out alongside the 1.5 update patch. stay tuned for more details on the actual launch date for this DLC. The Survival mode which will include up to 24 players battling it out on the same New York map as the main game. You will need to venture off and head to the center of the map to pick up special items. You enter the game mode where your helicopter crashes and you are pretty much left with nothing. Every player starts with really low-level gear and you are scattered around on the map after the crash. The interesting part of this game mode is you need to survive! the weather plays a role in this mode and you will need to get better clothing gear to essentially keep you alive. Jackets and other clothing items now have a cold rating on them and you will need to search around for items to keep you warm and to keep your ass from freezing to death and dying! Players who make it to the middle will be awarded with some pretty sweet items. Check out the trailer below from back in June when they first announced this DLC.
