For the past week I’ve had the chance to play Nier: Automata. All I can say is WOW! I love the game play style. It is Devil May Cry buttons meets Final Fantasy options. Being an android woman, destroying groups of enemies while using health and battling items, does it really get any better then that?   The game starts off like any other. You follow through the beginning until you hit one gigantic boss and once hes destroyed you are introduced to the open world where you can run around and do side missions to level your character up and earn money. Buying new weapons, and chips for your auto shooting bot, which changes his weapons and super abilities. The graphics on this game are amazing. Making a destroyed earth covered in plant life, with wild moose walking around, makes for great scenery. With the game switching from 3D to side scrolling, to an above view, it is an easy transition and you don’t lose control at all. The music is very calming and when it comes to boss battles it really gets you hyped and wanting to destroy the boss ASAP. But like any other boss, there’s always multiple steps to be taken so that there is always different methods to take and use. Overall I like this game a lot. A lot to do and you don’t always have to focus on the main mission. It’s a sit back and relax until you get to a big boss!   I’ve included a video of my thoughts while playing and some general game play after that. Keep gaming everyone!
