The Turtle Beach Stealth 300 Headset is a fantastic starter headset for someone who is looking for there first gaming headset and doesn’t want to spend an arm and a leg.   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfRKn8WIa0o[/embedyt]   Turtle Beaches Stealth 300 has a lot in common with its friends the 600 and 700 which make it a great headset, the flip-mic is one of my favourite new design features and switching from muted to unmuted is so easy with this design. Battery life of 30 hours and the memory foam cushioning on the ear cups will leave you gaming in comfort for hours.  Rocking this headset on the Xbox One will allow you to access the Windows Sonic Sound directly in your settings tab. Your preset audio boosts make an appearance as well in the Stealth 300. Bass Boost, Signature Sound, Bass and Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost. Cycling through these is a must to find the right sound for you. Mic monitoring is a must-have with headsets and the Stealth 300 does have this option, although it isn’t the greatest you still won’t be shouting in your mic and there is a difference in this feature when I was testing with the 600 and 700. The 50mm speakers built into this headset are great but not fantastic. I noticed at high volumes there was a bit of sound cutting out which I also noticed during voice chat with friends via party chat. This can be worked out in your Xbox sound settings which you really need to tweak to get the right sound quality to your liking. A minor hiccup but nothing to steer you away from buying this headset. The comfort level is top-notch and I had not one single issue with this headset sitting on my head. The metal headband is durable and it is pretty lightweight. Thank you for the memory foam ear cups because those things are golden!. Glasses friendly for those with glasses which is another bonus. Although designed for Xbox One this headset is compatible across all platforms, another bonus! The Stealth 300 is a great headset that does have some minor setbacks but the pros outweigh cons by far. 30 hours of battery life with a comfort level that you can’t match this is a headset you don’t want to miss.
