After a solid gaming year in 2017 we look forward to 2018 and what games will be releasing. 2018 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for gamers. Could 2018 be the best gaming year in the last 10 years??? only time will tell. Enjoy my list of the 7 games you don’t want to miss in 2018.     #7 – Crackdown 3   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_9fG8hPCi0[/embedyt]   Delayed a few times and hopes of Crackdown 3 launching with the Xbox One X is now a thing of the past. Could 2018 be the year we get Crackdown 3? or will there be another delay.   #6 – The Walking Dead(Overkill’s)   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=non_0jlOXew[/embedyt]   Overkill’s The Walking Dead could be that zombie game we have been waiting for. A power house publisher and developer team of Overkill and Starbreeze known for the Payday Series could have a gem of game in the making. Could we see a 4-player coop style like Payday but set in the zombie apocalypse… only 2018 can tell us that!   #5 – Far Cry 5   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLNgEfwgCYA[/embedyt]   One of my favorite video game series of all time Far Cry has taken us on some incredible journey’s and put us against some of the worlds most dangerous leaders. Far Cry 5 is set in the American Northwest where you are taking on a new demon as you battle against a dangerous cult.   #4 – Days Gone   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SnXOtfN7VQ[/embedyt]   When we saw Days Gone for the first time while watching E3 in 2016 our jaws dropped and with another jaw dropping trailer back at E3 2017 I can’t wait to play this game! The action looks non stop as you try to survive the hordes of zombie like creatures… oh and don’t forget that crazy looking bear that wants to eat you. Look for this in 2018 to be a fantastic game from Bend Studios.   #3 – God of War   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOE2BVRCUkM[/embedyt]   God of War is the 4th installment in the series which will be releasing early this year and we can’t wait!. The visuals look breath-taking and from the combat we have seen it looks brutal. Kratos now a father looks to be teaching his son how to survive in this world.  Look for this game in 2018 to be one of the most visually stunning games as well a game of the year candidate.   #2 – Red Dead Redemption 2   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F63h3v9QV7w[/embedyt]   Probably one of the biggest games to be coming in 2018 and with the success of the first game you better be damn sure this game will be something for the record books. RDR2 is a prequel to RDR and you play as Arthur Morgan a member of the gang where John left back RDR. Shine up  your 6-shooter and get ready for this game because you won’t want to miss it.   #1 – The Last of Us 2   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzdNECcio54[/embedyt]   One of the greatest video games I have ever played was The Last of Us. The narrative was fantastic and had you at the edge of your seat throughout the whole story and with The Last of Us 2 coming out in 2018 I couldn’t be more happier.  We have only seen a few teaser trailers and with the most recent leaving you in absolute shock I don’t think I am the only one who is dying to play this second installment. No release date has been set but Naughty Dog has confirmed a 2018 release.   Hope you enjoyed my list and yes I know I have missed a ton of fantastic games that are set to release in 2018 but these are my must have games for 2018! 2018 for gamers is looking promising and I can’t wait to play these titles.   Cheers folks!
