Big Announcement From Sony At E3 Could Cripple Microsoft

Sony’s exclusive lineup is going to really cripple Xbox this year. With E3 just around the corner could another big announcement stop any momentum gained by Microsoft? Microsoft gained quite a bit of momentum with the release of the most power console the Xbox One X back in November of 2017. The Xbox One X is a fantastic console and  I enjoy playing on it, but Microsoft’s down fall is the lack of exclusive games being released. This is where Sony shines and even without having the more powerful console. (my opinion)     With God of War set to release later this week and early reviews are through the roof, Xbox has no contender in an exclusive title. Well we have State of Decay 2 coming out in May but I don’t think that would dethrone the likes of Kratos and God of War. Another big title releasing for Sony is Detroit: Become Human which will be a great exclusive to the already growing 2018 lineup for Sony. Later this year we have Spider-Man releasing which looks fantastic. Xbox right now has no answer really for any of these titles and a big showing at E3 from Microsoft is a must as well to even slightly close the gap on Sony. Sea of Thieves is doing well but lack of content might see a drop in sales down the road for new Xbox owners looking for great games. Scalebound was cancelled awhile back, Crackdown 3 we have no idea what is going on with the release date and aside from that the exclusive lineup from Microsoft is slim for 2018. Microsoft could have a big E3 as well by dropping some big news too but I don’t see what it could possibly be. Another installment for Gears of war or Halo could be in line but we won’t know until June 2018 at E3. Despite the fact that PS4 sales are already heavily dominating Xbox, Xbox keeps pushing along and has made some great advancements in gaming. Backwards compatibility is a huge hit, along with Xbox Game Pass which could lead to something even bigger as the gaming industry shifts over to strictly digital down the road. At the end of the day we all want games and games is what drives us to play and without them you can barely succeed in this industry. Sony has always dominated in that aspect and with a few more notable titles already releasing this year and a possible bombshell at E3 who knows what will happen to Microsoft for the remainder of 2018 and leading into 2019.   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzdNECcio54[/embedyt]   We may not see any details on a PS5 which is fine by me because Sony is still having great success with the PS4. I have a feeling The last of Us 2 gets a release date along with Death Stranding which will be huge news. Maybe Sony drops a bomb on us all and releases The Last Of Us 2 in November… who knows?. We will see another list of exclusive titles that could potentially be released in 2019 or even a big price drop for the PS4 Pro. Sony will have a huge VR showcase again this year at E3 and everything is pointing to a big successful E3 yet again for Sony. Big news is coming and I can’t wait for E3. This year could be a big one not just for Sony but for the whole gaming industry. Cheers folks!
