For the past couple of years, Destiny 2 has struggled to keep players in the game (myself included). With DLC launches and no real interest in the raids, and doing the same strikes over and over to grind for the loot, some people just got bored. Collecting weapons and armor that has the same stats for everyone that plays it. Well it seems like they are trying something new! In a live stream from Bungie yesterday the new Forsaken DLC coming out, it looks like you can customize certain things that will let you do more damage to bosses or add armor boosts. The only way to get these upgrades is to dismantle a weapon or armor piece that has one already on it. The DLC launches on Sept 4th, 2018 and it seems to have some of the Destiny players hyped again for something new that will add to the game and story line. Can the Destiny series be saved?
