Forget about E3 for a minute and remember the DLC

So I know I’m a little behind on writing a personal article and with E3 coming up, there is mostly just rumours floating around about what will be presented, and what games will be coming out in the near future. I’ve decided to give everyone a break from all the E3 news since it is coming up, and focus on the other things that are happening in video game news. Recently there was an update to Friday the 13th the game. Bringing in a challenge mode so that you can experience killing people in a whole new gruesome aspect! Pressing peoples heads together, dropping a car on their head, even jamming them into a tree while they take a pee into the bushes. Now I’ll admit, I really like playing this game with friends and random people. The new challenge mode can be easy, but time consuming. Sometimes the killings have to be timed correctly and need to be done by the end of the match, which can take up to 5 minutes. I know 5 minutes doesn’t seem like much but with being Jason and wanting to get your hands bloody sure feels like an eternity. I highly recommend playing this game. Playing with random people makes for great jokes, taunting, and in most cases TROLLING!! Speaking of trolling, the next game I want to mention is the DLC that came out for Sea of Thieves. That damn Megalodon! I thought the Kracken was difficult to handle. Well when you see the 4 eyes, and double layered teeth come out of the water, it makes you want to run for the bathroom! Having that elusive jerk go up to the surface showing his dorsal fin, to diving below the water just to pop up at the last minute, NOT COOL MAN!!! The only weapon that seems useful is the cannons. Shoot him all you want but guns will do minimal damage, because even cannons take a lot of shots and you will need 3 – 4 players to help. Dropping anchor is an option because the Megalodon moves a lot! So good luck and happy hunting. Bring me back some Megalodon meat if you get him. For the final game DLC I want to talk about is the new map for PUBG on Xbox and PlayStation. Now I know there was a trial version a few weeks back, but the map has been dropped. It’s random as to which map you will play but either way you will get to play it if you persist in playing. Playing on the Xbox one S system it takes everything forever to load in. I’ve been parachuting down to a certain location and there isn’t even a single building! The only advantage to this is when you land on the ground the building sometimes spawns around you which gives you instant cover. With more sniping chances and open areas to run through it makes for a bigger challenge. I enjoy it a lot because it forces people to move more often and be a little more aggressive in their game play. With all the DLC coming out for games it seems to be improving and giving people chances to play solo or give you more chances to play with friends. I hope with a small look into these DLC’s that you get one of the games because they are a tonne of fun to play and unlock achievements!   Keep gaming everyone!
