Prince of Persia Redemption

Prince of Persia Redemption NXL   For 8 years, a video titled Prince of Persia Redemption has been hiding in plain sight in the dark corners of Youtube, waiting to be discovered by a curious Ubisoft developer. How on earth does a gameplay prototype – it’s amazing by the way – go almost completely unnoticed for such a long time? Some recent viewers believe that the video was most likely kept as unlisted, meaning only those who were given the direct link could see it. At the time of discovery, Prince of Persia Redemption held a measly 150 views, which could include either certain Ubisoft execs and fellow developers, or it could mean that 150 gamers had watched this, and failed to make it viral, which seems unlikely. Though literally every single comment except one has been made in the last several hours, one comment made by a Marc-Andre Belleau (Assistant Technical Director at Ubisoft) is 2 years old, and it simply says “Where did you get that?!” Though Marc-Andre might have known it existed, it seems that the protoype Prince of Persia: Redemption, was never intended to be seen by outsiders. Lucky for us, it has been found, and the single mission, as the Prince attempts to destroy a colossus monster that has tearing up the city, looks absolutely wonderful. Shame it was never given the green-light.   Be sure to check out our previous article and stay tuned in for more gaming related content.
