NINTENDO STILL HAS TRICKS UP ITS SLEEVE

The hype is fucking real when it comes to Pokemon Go. Everyone and there long-lost cousin is trying this game out and it’s truly building some momentum. Is this shades of Nintendo 2006, when the Wii launched and was dominating the market for a while with this new and exciting console?   The way I see it Nintendo has been waiting in the tall grass like a fucking Raptor in Jurassic Park and stalking its potential users! Which in reality is every person with a cell phone. Frankly, its pure genius what they are doing with Pokemon Go. They have everyone talking about,  posting about, thinking about, and not to exclude everyone that thought it’s was a stupid game is now in there mind trying to figure out how they can get this game and not be called a bandwagon jumper. We all own cell phones and what better way then to hit us all with a game first of its kind really. Yeah it’s going to rape your data and your wallet but what doesn’t these days.   [embedyt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sj2iQyBTQs[/embedyt]   Guaranteed you have these phone companies dancing for fucking joy at the fact that this game takes up shit loads of your data. That way they can hose you even more on plans that require you to dish out more money for a data plan. Win! Win! for them right?! ( *sigh*). Such is life when you want the latest and greatest right? Kudos Nintendo you smart bastards!  Nintendo and their handheld users are pretty strong and releasing such a game on handheld like your phone could lead to potential other handheld gaming devices from Nintendo as well. They did dominate the handheld gaming market and in my eyes still does. I still own a Gameboy, it doesn’t work but I still stare at it from time to time and remember the joy I had playing Tetris on it in class while the teacher was yelling at me to put it away. Another key point is that Nintendo is actually bringing people together with this game when you think of it. Kids these days are all stuck in side playing games or binge watching Netflix, now with Pokemon Go you have kids outside finally and not acting like vampires! I have a park near my house and it’s packed with kids playing this game and after a while you see them running around on the jungle gym or even playing sports… with other people!! Shocking I know. This game is beneficial when you look at the interactions it brings with it. Kudos to that one as well Nintendo.   nintendo2   With Nintendo’s crazy momentum with Pokemon Go they decided “hey let’s drop another awesome thing” Nintendo is now releasing another NES console? Fucking right they are. This is going to be a pre loaded mini console set to release this christmas season and comes with 30 pretty sweet games I might add. Now seeing that us old school know what the fuck a NES is we are all pretty much going to be purchasing this console for nostalgic reasons and because we loved NES growing up. Another win for Nintendo on that one. Targeting old school gamers is key especially because most of us who have younger children. What better way to bond with them by showing them the games we used to play when we were their age. Ofcourse, they will look at us like we are fucking losers because the graphics back then don’t even come close to what gaming looks like now and that means back to being “uncool” parents again. Ah well the story of our lives with these younger gamers. What is stopping Nintendo from releasing other mini consoles as well such as the SNES or ever popular N64? Nothing really, I think if they did and pre loaded those with 30 games and slapped a $60 price tag on it people would eat that shit right up and by one to play with and buy one to have as a collectors piece. Only time will tell on Nintendo releasing more mini consoles but I think it won’t be a far-fetched idea down the line and you will be seeing more and more of this from Nintendo.   nintendo-3   This leads into Nintendo’s next console releasing in 2017 called the NX. Apparently, going back to its cartridge games which is pretty damn cool if you ask me all the buzz is leading up to this launch. Games like Zelda and Super Smash Bros. will be titles at launch and they are creating quite a buzz already especially with Zelda which looks fucking fantastic and is going to be an open world game finally.     Who knows what else Nintendo has up their sleeve but with the momentum swinging in their favor can they return to the top of the gaming console charts once again? or is this just a phase that will soon be forgetting like your ex girlfriend or boyfriend who turned out to be a fucking psycho? I guess we just wait and see now if Nintendo can pull another Ace from its sleeves!   Let me know your thoughts below and what you think Nintendo will do next.     Cheers!
