With recent rumors flying around about a new console from Sony releasing this year, we all knew it made no sense. Why would Sony release a console this year when there is no reason too?. Sales for the PS4 are great and in the near future you will be seeing some great exclusive games arriving. Games likes The Last Of Us 2 and Death Stranding will bring in some heavy numbers for the PS4, so does it really make sense to deflate that and release a new console?… NOPE! As much of a fan boy I am to the Xbox, I still enjoy my PS4 and the console is great. With some fantastic exclusives already released and more upcoming, Sony should just relax and wait to release the new console. Sony is in fact dominating console sales and it is not necessary for them to jump the gun and release a console too fast. It could possible cripple the PS4 and who knows they may rush a console and it doesn’t live up to the hype and fans would be devastated. That’s the last thing we need is a rushed console. A new console would be great for the industry don’t get me wrong but with the PS4 Pro releasing not too long ago, don’t count on the PS5 this year or maybe even next.     Additional rumors are from undisclosed sources(of course) which they are saying the new “PS5” or whatever Sony will call it will be releasing sometime in 2020. Now that rumor makes total sense. I don’t think we will be seeing any teasers at this upcoming E3, but you never know. I think Sony at E3 will announce a few more exclusive titles for the PS4 and shed light on some much-anticipated release dates for certain games. Don’t count on Sony releasing any news on the PS5 this year at E3 but something will be announced at either PSX or E3 2019 and who know they could even shock the gaming world and release a console later on in 2019 for the holidays. E3 2018 is just around the corner and we will soon find out what Sony has in store for the rest of 2018 and looking into 2019.   Cheers Folks!
