“Welcome to a world where you can feel more.”

Sony’s first global spot for the PlayStation 5 showcases how the player experience will be impacted by the innovative technology implemented into the new console. From 3D Audio technology to responsive haptic feedback in the DualSense controller, the new tech found within the PlayStation 5 is sure to provide gamers with a satisfying generational leap that will clearly define the difference between PlayStation 4 and the newer PlayStation 5. As visual technology moves towards an inevitable plateau of fidelity, PlayStation is continually looking for ways to improve the console experience with each passing generation. With the PlayStation 5, Sony seems to be prioritizing immersion over all else. The PlayStation Blog continues to provide examples of how useful the immersive feedback provided by the console will be. By referencing titles, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Deathloop, Sony highlights how the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will alter the way players experience the game. In Deathloop, for example, jamming a weapon will cause the trigger to lock down, simulating the feel of a weapon that won’t fire.  Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will utilize the haptic feedback of the DualSense controller to more accurately warn players of incoming damage from specific directions by only vibrating that portion of the controller. The Blog continues to reference testimonies from other developers praising the DualSense’s new features and how they will benefit the player experience in their games.   What do you think of the new DualSense and the technology it will introduce to the PlayStation brand?   For more news and updates surrounding the PlayStation 5, make sure to bookmark NXL Gaming and follow our socials!   [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj6AUuRs1A4[/embedyt]

From a young age I've loved video games and the power they possess in bringing different kinds of people together. I have forged many good friendships through this medium that would not exist without it. I love experiencing a new genre for the first time and finding out it resonates with me. Also, Conker's Bad Fur Day is one of the greatest games of all time. Fight me.
