Nintendo just announced that they will be releasing a console this year after all, no not Nintendo NX but NES Classic Edition. A miniature version of the original Nintendo Entertainment System which will cost $59.99 US when it launches on November 11th, 2016. The system looks identical to the original Nintendo Entertainment System but there are some key difference to bring this bad boy relevant in 2016. The console comes with HDMI cables and connections so the kids can enjoy the classic Nintendo games for the very first time in an HD TV (Note: The games are not HD versions of the game). Along with an HDMI cable, the package also includes an AC adapter and an NES Classic Controller (modeled after the original NES controller). Plus, the console comes preloaded with 30 games (which we’ve listed below). The console will support 2 player games as a second controller can be bought separately for only $9.99 Here’s the complete list of 30 games that come preloaded on the console:

  My take on it? I may not be the biggest fan of old school gaming but even I am excited for this. The price isn’t hefty and it’ll be a good system to have when friends come over and we can go over games and talk about how old we are now and how gaming has changed, yes it’ll bring back a lot of memories and tears. The price is what makes this bundle a good one. I know quite of few friends of mine who will be interested in picking this up. Old is gold after all.
