Consequently, one of the most exciting features for the Xbox Series X is Smart delivery. Smart delivery will offer Xbox players the ability to upgrade any game to the recommended version for the new console. Smart Delivery is being offered to all developers and of course, all Xbox Game Studio games that are optimized will have the Smart Delivery feature.  

Smart Delivery Explained

With Smart Delivery Xbox players will only need to purchase Xbox games once. Purchasing supported titles on the Xbox One will allow players who upgrade to the Xbox Series X to play the same game at no extra charge. This offers Xbox players the best possible version of the title you purchased. Simply selecting which version to download at the time of setting up your new console. Aside from digitally downloaded title support the Xbox Series X Smart Delivery will be adopted to physical discs as well. Now, this doesn’t mean every title will have Smart Delivery available. Smart Delivery will only be available on titles that are supported at the launch of the Xbox Series X and therefore, individual developers will have the option to take advantage of Smart Delivery if they choose too. Below is a list of confirmed Smart Delivery enabled titles when the Xbox Series X launches. All Xbox Game Studios titles will be Smart Delivery enabled.   Halo Infinite Cyberpunk 2077  Assassin’s Creed Valhalla  Destiny 2  DiRT 5  Scarlet Nexus  Chorus  Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2  Yakuza: Like a Dragon  The Ascent  Call of the Sea  Gears 5  Second Extinction  Metal: Hellslinger    Xbox has also confirmed that Smart Delivery will be enabled to Xbox Game Pass titles where developers are using this feature along with all of the Xbox Game Studios that hit Game Pass.
