Announced during the Sonic Central 30th anniversary stream, Sonic Colors will be receiving an enhanced version coming to current gen hardware. This title was originally an exclusive for the Nintendo Wii released in 2010. PlayStation and Xbox fans will now be able to enjoy this modern Sonic the Hedgehog title in the fall.

While many details remain unknown, eagle eyed viewers noticed that new additions to Sonic Colors Ultimate include alternate gloves and shoes for Sonic as well as the inclusion of the Jade ghost wisp first featured in Team Sonic Racing. A special version of Sonic Colors Ultimate will also be available for pre-order featuring a keychain of baby Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Sonic Colors Ultimate speeds into stores on September 7th.
