Google has announced that it will be closing Stadia’s internal game studio. Its head, Jade Raymond, will be leaving Stadia Games and Entertainment.
It is unknown how the company is doing financially; however, this hit will impact over 150 developers, although the exact number of layoffs remains unknown. In a good move by Google, the company will be trying to find new roles for the affected people. This will definitely change Stadia’s place in the market; how that plays out is yet to be seen.
