With less than a week away from consumer launch, Xbox Series X reviews have made their way into the wild.
Countless media websites, such as
IGN,
The Verge, and
Eurogamer have published reviews of the console, and to almost no one’s surprise, people seem to be impressed. The topics discussed in each review are mostly similar, with a primary focus being on features such as Quick Resume, heat, noise and performance.
It is worth noting, however, that due to the nature of embargoes, the only titles that each reviewer was able to sample for the reviews were backwards compatible older releases. It remains to be seen then how the console will fair with new generational titles, however given what is known from the recent releases that could be tested, the new console is more than likely to perform as advertised.
