Who Will Lose More Money?

Who Will Lose More Money?

Alright ladies and gentlemen it’s the beginning of the year and that means it’s time to talk. So many games are coming out this year and looks like they will be packed full of action and hours of game play. Everyone is prepping to play games such as Final Fantasy VII remake, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, and Cyberpunk 2077. Don’t forget about the new systems to launch, PS5 and Xbox Series X. With all these big titles and consoles coming out, it makes for big decisions as to what you should spend your money on. No real prices have been mentioned about how much the systems will cost but we know that the games will cost $79.99 still since the games always cost that. With every system launch, there is always a raise in price. Is this going to increase the price of games again? It seems that with the way things are going that it’s getting harder and harder to afford games. So the question is, what should Sony and Microsoft really look into? New systems are always in the future. Upgrading them so they can display 4K or higher and a frame rate of 60 FPS. Those options always make things cost more money, which makes it harder to sell the units. Being able to get the systems out to as many people should be the goal. What will the new systems be able to do? Handle VR systems? Able to view games up to 8K? I’m sure that in the next few months we will get the full details and what the systems will hold. Not to mention the small detail that you need to make up space for the system to go! So with those questions asked, I’m going to just lay it all out here as to what I think will happen. Prices are going to go up, it’s in the nature of things. I rarely see them go down, unless it is a third party game or something meant for younger kids to play. They are going to put too many advanced pieces into the systems which will make them cost a whole lot more, and even after a year they will come out with a more “cost effective” version which will have less options then the day one released system. I’m sure that Sony will jump on the band wagon and do the backwards compatibility since it is a huge hit with Xbox and come out with a better system that will match the ultimate pass so that Sony can get more games out to their players. Nothing wrong with being able to get as many games out to the players that they want to play, but not buy. Only thing that I find a waste is that if you want additional features, or add-on you need to purchase them yourself, and if they remove the game from the pass you are stuck with these items and can’t use them unless you purchase the game. So many options coming out that we haven’t been told about. I want to know sooner than later, but I’m sure that they will tell us everything that we need to know through teaser trailers and most likely fully release all the details at E3 which is in June from the 9th to the 11th. So what do you think will happen with the new systems? Should the companies look into what is best for the gamers, or do you think that they will just go for the most amount of money and pocket it for a profit and get rich? I think they will jack the prices of games and we will lost more money, but that’s just me.   Keep gaming everyone!
