Announced during Nintendo’s September partner showcase, Balan Wonderworld is a dreamlike 3D platformer developed by Square Enix. Players will take control of Leo and Emma, two children led to Wonderworld by the mysterious maestro, Balan. Explore twelve fantastic stages as you dawn costumes to make use of special abilities to solve puzzles in each level, eventually leading to a unique boss.
Players can pass a joy-con to a friend to engage in multiplayer action, with the capacity to combine the abilities of their costumes together for special effects. Balan Wonderworld is being created by some of the same artists who worked on Sega’s Nights franchise. Balan Wonderworld will float onto Nintendo Switch March 26, 2021
