Halo Infinite Gameplay Revealed at Xbox Games Showcase

Halo Infinite is a highly anticipated title for Xbox. With Halo Infinite’s release date set to launch with the Xbox Series X, fans were treated to a sneak peek of roughly 9 minutes of gameplay. Xbox first revealed Halo Infinite during their E3 2018 presentation with its first real teaser. Halo Infinite is currently in development by 343 Industries under a new engine named Slipspace. The Xbox Games Showcase kicked off with the gameplay reveal for Halo Infinite, which is below for your viewing pleasure. [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E-1BcILTPk[/embedyt] Halo Infinite’s gameplay trailer seems to begin shortly after the previous trailer’s events, with Master Chief jumping down off a crashed ship and looking upon an open-world map. With multiple objectives visible on-screen, it seems Halo Infinite will let players explore one of the largest Halo worlds ever. Gameplay mechanics shown in the trailer seem to mimic the original Halo. With open-world exploration on the horizon for Halo Infinite, Master Chief has some new accessories in his arsenal. Fans got a sneak peek at Master Chief’s latest tool—the grappling hook—which allows Master Chief to pull items and enemies closer during combat. With an open-world setting on the horizon, it seems the grappling hook will help players in combat and exploration when playing through Halo Infinite. In the trailer—during the sequence where the player is looking at an overview of the map—one can notice an upgrades tab. Halo Infinite could introduce fans to an upgradable system of some sort, but that has yet to be fully revealed. As more is revealed for Halo Infinite in the coming months prior to its release, we will get a bigger picture of what this upgrade system will look like.
