Hello Gamers and Tech fans! That’s right, GAMESCOM is here again and as usual Nvidia was there to make their presence felt. This year with a few twists, the announcement of the next generation of graphic cards, and autonomous processors; also 4K gsync monitors and the GeForce experience for streamers. So let’s dive in, Nvidia announced its new autonomous processor machine; called Nvidia Xavier. These chips are targeted towards the auto industry, to create (you guessed it) self-driving cars. The Xavier chip sports astounding specs such as:
  • 512 core Volta gpu with tensor cores
  • 8-core Arm v.8.2 64-bit cpu
  • 16gb 256-bit lpddr4
Personally, I was blown away because I had no idea Nvidia was working on self-driving cars, and the sheer idea of a properly designed self driving car makes me excited; but if that wasn’t enough for you check out the video on the Xavier: The next topic of discussion I wanted to talk about that Nvidia debuted was Gsync 4K (I know, 4K has been around for awhile Jay). Well Nvidia is rolling out their gsync monitors in 4K and bigger than ever. How big are we talking ? How does 65 inch 4K with Gsync sound to you ? Check out some video about the announcement: Nvidia also announced some changes coming to the Nvidia GeForce Experience. Those adjustments include, more features to the photo mode and additional games added to the catalog as well as support for them. We all know the major announcement was the news that Nvidia will be releasing a new series of gpu’s. The 20 series was announced and boy was Nvidia excited. Nvidia announced the following series:
  • GEFORCE RTX 2070
  • GEFORCE RTX 2080
  • GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti
That pretty much covered what Nvidia had to share with us; from gpu’s to self driving cars. If you missed the keynotes from Nvidia, check out the conference below:
