NXL had the chance to close out the September month and ring in the October month in Hamilton Ontario at the ‘Hamilton Comic Con’. To start, we heard about this a few months ago and to our surprise we didn’t realize that Hamilton had a Comic Con. Suffice to say we were excited to see what it was all about; The venue was rather small compared to some of the other conventions we have attended (held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum) but I assure ever bit of space was made the best of. There were dozens of booths, vendors, artists, and celebrities; we are happy to say that NXL was able to capture some of the life from the ‘Hamilton Comic Con’ and we were able to share it with you, check it out ! Artist Rags Morales, with his excellent vision and passionate knowledge “Captain Marvel, not Shazzam” Forest City Coins, with their rare comics by the box full… and wall full Derek Laufman, with his unique take on cult classics (loved the expression and color) Deadly Grounds Coffee, brewing up something fresh from the grave! (for my coffee lovers or Halloween fanatics) RevenantFX, with their haunting gnomes (always a fan of their creativity) Thank you very much to the people that took the time to speak with us and even pose for pictures with their artistic visions.
