The Most Outrageous Nintendo Accessories… Ever

They were something talked about in a boardroom, approved by a team of mad engineers and hit gaming store shelves across the world. Here is my list of the most outrageous gaming accessories I have seen over my young life….. maybe not that young.   #5- Nintendo Power Pad The Nintendo Power Pad was a great idea, not really as it was only compatible with a slim amount of games     #4- Nintendo R.O.B To this day I am not exactly sure what the F**K this thing actually did besides make a fantastic friend for my little sister to play with so she would leave me alone. Slow clap for Nintendo on this one? Ummmm nope!       #3- Super Nintendo Super Scope Spending my hard-earned paper route money on supplying batteries for this accessory was a pain in the ass as it would eat them up like it was candy. It was heavy, hardly worked and wasn’t the best of ideas from the team over at Nintendo.     #2- Nintendo Power Glove I would like to apologize to my grandfather for asking you to purchase this for me for my birthday at a young age. I promise to pay you back for the money you wasted. The Power Glove was cool… for a short period of time. Especially after watching the movie The Wizard. ( Get the star Jimmy!) With only a handful of games ( get it?) The Power Glove didn’t gain any traction and the second part of this famous movie line from The Wizard was correct. “I love the power glove, It’s so bad”.     #1- The Wii Car Adapter Yes you are reading that correctly. “Hey hunny did you pack the Wii car adapter for our long road trip with the kids so they can violently thrash around in the back seat of the car while we drive?”  I am not exactly sure what Nintendo was thinking with this but despite the huge sales from the Wii, the adapter did not sell well.
