Which Nintendo Console Was The G.O.A.T?

Nintendo has been a staple in the gaming industry for years and even same say have paved the way as to how gaming has evolved into what it is today. Games Like Super Mario Bros. will forever be in our gaming hearts and The Legend of Zelda will never die!   #5- Nintendo GameCube Although battling it out with the PS2 during its release and eventually falling short the GameCube was still a great console and brought us some fantastic games with it such as Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.      #4- Nintendo Wii Yes I placed this ahead of the Nintendo GameCube but for some valid reasons. The Wii brought us some fantastic motion features and games that we can never forget. It’s sales weren’t to bad as well and was competing with the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the time and held its own. The hype was real for a while. Super Mario Galaxy is still one of the greatest games ever!   #3- Nintendo Entertainment System The console that started my gaming obsession takes the number 3 spot and for good reason.  This was the console that helped the gaming industry push into the next level( hahahaha). The NES has given birth to the greatest franchises in video game history. Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda & Mega Man just to list a few. I still remember getting this console for Christmas and holding it my arms with tears of joy rolling down my cheek.     #2- Super Nintendo The SNES library of games was one of my favorites and to this day I still play certain games. The Legend of Zelda: A link To The Past along with Super Mario World were games I could never put down. This was a tight race between the NES and SNES but I had to edge it in favor of the SNES.     #1- Nintendo 64 N64, what can I say. The memories from gaming with this console are endless. N64 and it’s couch co-op were its high points and with titles like GoldenEye, Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. I am sure I am not the only one who has childhood memories of these games. Super Mario 64 was mind-blowing at the time and the 3D graphics for this console just blew us all away as kids. N64 should be the next console in line for mini version like the NES and SNES and will be a nice collector piece for die-hard fans of the console like me.
