The Crysis twitter account returns to life by recently posting a slightly mystifying tweet today. The short and cryptic tweet simply says “Receiving Data” sparking a dramatic outburst of optimism in the gaming community. The latest Crysis game released significantly long enough, (2013) that a new Crysis could most certainly be in the works. Crytek and associated EA has a significantly smaller team these days, so whether this will be a full game – or a remaster of Crysis 1 – is hard to say. However, those of us who remember playing the Crysis franchise, know that out of any game that would take full advantage of the power of next generation consoles, Cysis would most certainly be on the top of that list.
