Years ago, friends would get togther hang out, eat food, drink whatever they had in the fridge, and sit on the floor and play video games on the same screen. It didn’t matter what system you would play, you would sit around the TV and just have a blast. In most cases it would of been a Nintendo system, so that you could have four controllers on one system. That way more people would be able to play, and enjoy the moment. I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 games that in my opinion, most people played on the same TV. 1) Mario Kart Series With being able to race different difficulites, to a battle mode, this game had a lot of options and characters to play with. Having fun distracting your friends so that you can take the lead, or shooting them with specific weapons. 2) Golden Eye 64 One of the biggest games that was played, and people still want a re-release of this game. Shooting friends, getting the best weapons and just getting loud with your friends. The best thing about this game was being Odd Job, only because he was to short to shoot if you ran up to other players. 3) Mario Party Series It may not be “split” screen, but with every player on the screen at the same time attempting to win the whole game, along with the mini games can be fun and exciting. 4) Fuzion Frenzy This game was like American Gladiators on cspeed! Going up against your friends in a all out brawl and being extremely competitive but having fun trolling your friends. 5) Super Smash Brothers Series This is the ultimate trolling game! Knocking your friends off, only to have them grab the ledge and jump back up. Using power weapons and getting that damage percentage up so it is easier to knock them into space! Clearly we know who focused on the same screen platform, but there are great titles out there for Playstation and Xbox. These are the top 5 that I had fun with when my friends came over.
